PR Account Director
Los Angeles

The PR Account Director will design and implement award-worthy multicultural and inclusive campaigns that impact the total market. They will drive ROI through mass market and multicultural media outreach, social media/influencer engagement and events. This role will require the candidate to have specialized expertise in the African American and/or Hispanic consumer markets as well as experience with general consumer markets.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Public relations/Influencer engagement/Community outreach:
- Design, lead, and implement PR, influencer engagement and community outreach strategies targeting multicultural and diverse audiences (including but not limited to African American, Hispanic, AAPI and LGBTQ+) on behalf of a major US financial institution
- Draft press releases, media statements, speeches and other press materials
- Build and edit client presentations
- Secure major media coverage in general market and African American / Hispanic/ multicultural press outlets for a range of topic areas (e.g., new product launches, corporate announcement, DEI/CSR initiatives)
- Maintain a high awareness of pop culture, industry trends and African American/Hispanic community happenings
- Serve as a main point of contact for multiple client contacts
Other Functions:
- Participate in new business pitches and presentations
- Educate staff on industry best practices
- Participate in other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Setting clear objectives for team members.
- Overseeing workflow and monitoring productivity.
- Providing guidance and support through coaching.
- Resolving issues within the team or on an individual basis offering constructive feedback as needed.
- Foster knowledge-sharing across all disciplines to ensure collaborative and informed work.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must have excellent client relations/people skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and editing)
- Possess a deep understanding of the African American and/or Hispanic community
- Highly developed strategic, planning and creative PR skills
- Must possess ability to multi-task and effectively manage deadlines
- Ability to create budgets and monitor expenditures
- Strong media contacts and understanding of modern media landscape

Education and Experience:
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or a related field of study
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years professional work experience at a notable PR agency
- Minimum of 5 years in a client-facing managerial role or above
- Minimum of 3 years experience working with a financial services client
- Relevant experience in multicultural PR, influencer engagement and social media
- Played a leadership role in notable campaigns
Junior Finance Clerk

IW Group is seeking a Junior Finance Clerk who can perform routine clerical, filing, and data entry tasks for accounting data including accounts payable, billing, and receivables.
This position is hybrid and will require employees to come into the LA office once a week.
Responsibilities
- Verify that all documents are correctly signed and processed
- Oversee company’s financial transactions
- Participate in account reconciliation operations
- Interact with customers, contractors, and 3rd party vendors
- Support monetary transactions
- Resolve accounting issues
- Conduct routine data entry management for accounting record including accounts payable, billing, and accounts receivable
- Review billing statements, invoices, and other documents for accuracy
- Review financial data and report any discrepancies
Requirements
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in accounting and/or finance
- Experience with basic bookkeeping procedures and financial transactions
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Must have a problem-solving mindset and eager to learn

Below are some of the responsibilities a junior project manager is expected to assume in their position:
- Assist in managing and coordinating multiple projects to ensure they are completed on time and on budget.
- Organize and plan project tasks and schedules from start to finish.

- Collaborate with various teams in order to establish goals, schedules and budgets.

This position is responsible for designing and implementing strategies to build award-winning total market and multicultural campaigns, maximizing reach through tradition and digital media press, influencers, events and activations that are conducive to demonstrable ROI.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Publicity/Social Media/Influencer
- Design, implement and lead publicity strategies that align with client goals
- Lead planning and execution of publicity campaigns for multiple entertainment accounts

WORKING CONDITIONS:
- COVID-19 considerations: We work in the office 1 day per week, all other time is remote.
- While performing the responsibilities of this role, the employee will spend most of the time working indoors, in the IW Group office or remote.
