At the renowned West Coast restaurant Nobu Malibu, celebrity guests celebrated the launch of House of Suntory’s Yamazaki 55-year-old single malt whiskey. The event, hosted by House of Suntory, and produced by IW Group, was an exclusive tasting experience that welcomed celebrities, industry professionals, influential press, and select Beam Suntory executives. The program included a live whiskey tasting, and a five-course-paired tasting menu by Chef Nobu, created exclusively for the event.
The tasting was attended by VIP guests such as actor Daniel Dae Kim, actor Ross Butler, actor Alex Landi, and tattoo artist Dr. Woo. It was featured in high-profile outlets like Rolling Stone, HypeBeast, and Cigar Aficionado. The event drew significant social media attention with many of the celebrity attendees (Daniel Dae Kim, Dr. Woo) singing the whiskey’s praises on their Instagram feeds. In addition, Chef Nobu and Nobu Restaurant Group shared multiple posts, and engaged with celebrity guests on their feeds.
